Introducing the HELP Course: A Path to Empowerment and Support for People Affected by Cancer

At CSG, we believe that no one should face cancer alone. That’s why we’ve developed the HELP Course—a six-week program that offers a safe, supportive space for individuals affected by cancer. Designed for groups of 6-10 people, this course is built on the principles of self-management and mutual support, allowing participants to connect, share, and grow together.

What Can You Expect from the HELP Course?

Our trained facilitators are here to guide you every step of the way. They are committed to:

  • Respecting your confidentiality and treating all participants equally
  • Exhibiting kindness, compassion, and care in every interaction
  • Creating a supportive environment where everyone’s voice is heard
  • Encouraging open discussion and storytelling

What is Expected of You?

To get the most out of the course, we ask that participants commit to:

  • Attending all six sessions
  • Respecting the confidentiality of other group members
  • Completing a registration form before starting the course

The Power of Connection

Participants often form strong bonds throughout the HELP course, and many continue to meet informally after the sessions end to offer ongoing support to one another. The sense of camaraderie and understanding can be incredibly healing.

Is the HELP Course Right for You?

Whether you’re newly diagnosed or navigating life after treatment, the HELP course can be a valuable addition to your cancer journey. It’s a chance to focus on your well-being, set personal goals, and connect with others who share similar experiences.

Please note: As the course is tailored to the needs of CSG members, there may be a waiting list until we have enough participants to form a group.
