Welcome to the Walk Against Cancer 2024!

Our goal this year is to double last years participants and to smash the €10000 mark!

This year everyone will be able to set their own goal, for example you could decide to walk 10.000 steps a day, or you may prefer to walk a total of 100.000 in the month. Even though it is Walk Against Cancer, if you prefer to run, cycle or swim, that is fine too, just make sure you are challenging yourself because the idea is to increase everyone's fitness during the month.

The first 150 adults will receive a pack including a t-shirt and either a bag or water bottle and the first 50 children will receive a t-shirt and a surprise at the end of the event, so register early to make your choice of product and t-shirt size.

23rd of March 

We will me meeting at the Olive tree for the people registered to walk for the month of April to meet and collect their sponsorship packages and instructions for the coming month.

1st of April 

Walk Against Cancer 2024 begins. Everyone is invited to join Anita and her team who will be walking the final leg of the GR221 from the Son Amer Refuge (near Lluc) to Pollensa.

That evening they will celebrate their achievement at Liberty Kitchen in Pollensa, everyone is invited for an evening of fun and fundraising.

30th of April

We will be celebrating the end of Walk Against Cancer 2024 at Sa Vinya, Es Capdellà.  There will be stalls, raffles and entertainment etc for everyone to enjoy. The following day is a bank holiday in Mallorca!

We will publish more information on each event nearer the time.

HOW TO FUNDRAISE 

1- Once you have signed up you will be provided with a Sponsorship form that you can print out and fill in, you will then need to collect the money yourself and take it to the celebration event or arrange to donate it another way once the event has finished.

2- By registering with Migrano de Arena and creating a fundraiser, you will receive step by step instructions on how to do this once you have signed up. This is our preferred method as it saves you having to collect the money and it is easy for everyone to keep track of how much money is being raised for the event.
Once you have created the fundraiser you will be able to share it on  your social media and by Whatsapp and Email to your friends and connections.
