We were approached some time ago by Simone, a cancer patient herself, who lives in the east of the Island. She had an idea of setting up coffee mornings for cancer patients. After lots of hard work she has finally achieved this with the support of the Town Hall of Llorenç des Cardassar. 

The first coffee morning will be held on the 12th of January from 10:30, Simone is hoping to get people of all nationalities there, and it is not just for cancer patients, it is open to anyone suffering from any chronic illness. The idea is to offer each other support and help based on similar experience.

We really hope that this initiative takes off.
