Processing long term "baja" (sick leave)

Hey! Thanks again for your help preparing for my appointment, I thought I’d just let you know how it went in case it could help anyone else in the future 😄 

It was actually very short, I took all my medical documents but because I only had public healthcare they had all the information in their system. He asked me some simple questions: if I still had pain, if I still need my crutches at home, what medication I was taking, which job I had, and if the date of the start of the baja was correct. And then he basically directly said that they are extending the baja because I am still receiving treatment. In my case it will be until January for now because by then I should have finished treatment and have another full body scan done. 

Because I have reached a year of baja now, the Seguridad social will be deciding regarding the baja instead of my medico cabacera. This is a standard procedure and would be the same in every case. 

Of course the situation is different in every case, but even if it could help one person I think it’s worth it to share 😄
