Bladder cancer is not a rare cancer, in the UK it is the 7th most cancer.

However there is very limited public awareness of the disease and it has been overlooked in terms of reasearch spending.

Patient outcomes can be considerably improved by early diagnosis, up to 80% survival rate when caught early. It is not only a disease of older people, younger people can also be affected.

Multiple Myeloma

Multiple Myeloma is a cancer arising from plasma cells, a white blood cell that is made in the bone marrow.

When a patient has myeloma, plasma cells become abnormal, multiply uncontrollably and release only one type of antibody, paraprotein that has no useful function.

Myeloma doesn't exist as a lump or tumor, it affects multiple places of the body where bone marrow is normally active, such as within the bones of the spine, the skull, pelvis, rib cage, long bones of the arms...

On the 19th of March we were at the St.Patrick's fair in Santa Ponsa.

We were happy to introduce our new "I love my lemons" range, thanks to Sophie from Ikat Nou. They have a lovely range of items to sell. There are 'I love my lemons' t-shirts, lemon stress ball keyrings and lemon foldable shopping bags.
